Qualifications: Dr. Crawford completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Alberta and is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and the Canadian Health Care Providers in Psychology.
Work History: Dr. Crawford worked as the Chief Psychologist of the Upper Grand District School Board for 18 years. Additionally, she has worked at Chedoke McMaster Hospital, Peel Memorial Hospital , and Peel Children's Centre. She has been providing therapy and assessments through her private practice for over 20 years.
Therapy Services: Dr. Crawford provides therapy for children, adolescents, families and adults to assess and treat a variety of mental health concerns, including: anxiety, depression, attention deficit, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, grief, school learning and behaviour concerns, and family concerns. Dr. Crawford is versed in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Collaborative Proactive Solutions, and Emotional Regulation Training.
Assessment Services: Dr. Crawford has expertise in completing Psychoeducational Assessments of learning disabilities, including dyslexia. She also completes Psychological Assessments exploring, attention deficit, behavioural and emotional regulation challenges, anxiety, depression, and intellectual functioning for children, adolescents and adults.
Qualifications: Krista holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology stream; 2023) from York University, and a PhD. in Experimental Psychology (specialization in Neuroscience; 2018) from the University of Guelph. Throughout her academic career, her research has centred around perception, learning and memory.
Work History: Krista has been working with Dr. Crawford for over 6 years, providing psychoeducational and gifted assessments (ages 8-19). She has also worked for the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board completing Gifted Assessments (ages 9-10). Her neuropsychology experience (ages 17+) has included practicum placements at Toronto's Sunnybrook Hospital (adult neurological services) and Community Head Injury Resource Services (acquired brain injuries), as well as a pre-doctoral residency placement at the London Health Sciences Centre (neurology/neurosurgery, epilepsy, consultation neuropsychology).
Assessment Services: Krista has been working under the supervision of Dr. Crawford completing Psychoeducational and Gifted Assessments for children and adolescents.
Qualifications: Samantha graduated from the University of Guelph with a Ph.D in Psychology specializing in Neuroscience, or the study of the brain. Her expertise is in the field of epigenetics and memory. She is currently working in research as well as office management.
